My dad sent me 3 packets of seedlings last Spring from Ireland with Hellebores seeds, finally after waiting patiently, 2 out of the 3 packets have germinated. I just read that it can take up to 18 months to germinate. Not only that, it takes 3 to 4 years before you get a flower, but I think one can agree the wait is worth it. My dad specializes in these plants in Ireland. I'm hoping to get into it here and carry on the love he has for this plant.
